About the Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Lead with high attention to detail to coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities and provide on-the-floor leadership to our warehouse team. In this role, you will ensure efficient and accurate handling of inventory, adherence to safety and operational procedures, and support team performance through training, scheduling, and workflow direction. The Warehouse Lead serves as a key point of contact between warehouse staff and supervisors to meet productivity and operational goals.
What You Will Do
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, order picking, staging, shipping, and inventory movement.
- Assign tasks and direct team members to ensure efficiency and compliance with work orders and schedules.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.*
- Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and handling of materials according to company and regulatory standards.*
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Onboard and train new warehouse employees.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S and safety practices.*
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and process inefficiencies to warehouse leadership.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support production and customer service goals.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties including preparing and filing shipping/receiving documents, entering data into ERP or inventory management systems, updating logs and reports, and maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions.
- Assist with scheduling, shift documentation, and other administrative tasks as delegated by warehouse leadership.

What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse experience required.
- Prior experience as a team leader, senior warehouse associate, or similar leadership role preferred.
- Experience in food or ingredient warehousing is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic knowledge of ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards preferred.

- Knowledge of allergen segregation and food safety handling.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day direction and informal supervision of warehouse staff.
- Support supervisor in monitoring employee performance, attendance, and training.
- May assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and basic disciplinary communication as delegated.
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Backup: Production Lead or Production Supervisor
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 55 lbs., with or without assistance.
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment (training or certification provided).
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment, including temperature variations and moderate noise levels.
- Use of PPE (e.g., gloves, steel-toed boots, safety vests) is required and provided.
Work Environment/Hours
- Full-time, Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Overtime as required, including some weekends.
- Travel: None.
